摘要： A toner sealing system is described including a seal having first and second alignment features. The seal is selectably installable on one of a first toner container of a first type and a second toner container of a second type. The first alignment feature is matable with a first corresponding alignment feature on the first toner container when the seal is installed on the first toner container for aligning the seal to the first toner container. The second alignment feature is matable with a second corresponding alignment feature on the second toner container when the seal is installed on the second toner container for aligning the seal to the second toner container. Each of the first and second latches is independently pivotable between a latched position for applying a hold-down force on a respective end portion of a corresponding toner cartridge positioned in a corresponding positioning slot of the plurality of positioning slots to rigidly hold the corresponding toner cartridge against datums of the basket and an unlatched position to release the corresponding toner cartridge permitting removal of the corresponding toner cartridge from the basket.

摘要： A replaceable unit for use in an electrophotographic image forming device according to one example embodiment includes a photoconductor unit having a rotatable photoconductive drum and a developer unit having a rotatable developer roll that is positioned to supply toner to the photoconductive drum. An electrical contact is positioned to contact a corresponding electrical contact in the image forming device when the replaceable unit is installed in the image forming device. A spring mechanically biases the developer unit relative to the photoconductor unit applying a bias force on the developer roll toward the photoconductive drum. The spring is electrically conductive and forms a portion of an electrical path from the electrical contact of the replaceable unit to an imaging component of the replaceable unit for carrying voltage from the electrical contact of the replaceable unit to the imaging component of the replaceable unit.

A first toner sump extends along a length of the photoconductive drum for receiving waste toner removed from the outer surface of the photoconductive drum by the cleaner member. 摘要： A deskewing plug and assembly mountable in a frame having a first and a second shaft forming a nip therebetween with the second shaft rotatably mounted in a pair of opposed channels and biased toward the first shaft for adjusting the axial alignment of the shafts. The deskewing plug has a generally cylindrical body having first portion, a second portion and a tab portion. The second portion has a circumferential camming surface cooperatively engageable with the second shaft. Rotation of the plug and camming surface adjusts the axial alignment of the second shaft. The tab portion radially extends from the first portion and has radially extending ridges frictionally engageable with a wall of the opening in the frame to prevent rotation of the deskewing plug after adjustment. A cap may be provided to cover and frictionally engage the tab with the cap being fastenable to the frame.
