    • The present invention relates to a vacuum cleaner. The present invention comprises: a housing (1) having a suction opening (8) into which air is introduced; a filtering unit (30) provided in the internal space (S1) of the housing (1) so as to create a dust collection space between the inner surface (2) of the housing (1) and the filtering unit (30); and a cleaning unit (110) which is provided to encompass the filtering unit (30) and which is linked with an operation unit (150) so as to rise inside the dust collection space, and which has a guide channel (E) of which at least a part is connected, at an initial position, to an air suction path extending from the suction opening (8) so as to guide the flow of suctioned air. In addition, a guide fence (124B) is provided along the outer edge of the cleaning unit (110), wherein the guide fence (124B) faces the inner surface of the housing (1) and extends along the inner surface of the housing (1) so as to create the guide channel (E). Therefore, the path, on which the suctioned air flows, through a gap (N) between the housing (1) and the cleaning unit (110), above the cleaning unit (110) or toward a connection part (149) between the cleaning unit (110) and the operation unit (150), can be blocked.
