摘要： A circular saw including a housing, a motor disposed within the housing, a spindle operable to be rotated by the motor, and a saw blade supported by the spindle for co-rotation therewith. The saw blade includes a hub portion located at a center of the saw blade and a blade portion extending therefrom. The hub portion is offset from the blade portion to define a pocket between the blade portion and the hub portion. The circular saw also includes a fastener securing the saw blade to the spindle. The fastener is at least partially recessed within the pocket.

摘要： An orbital sander (10) comprises a housing (14) and a drive unit (50) in the housing (14). The drive unit (50) includes an electric motor (58) and a drive shaft (68). The electric motor (58) has a motor output shaft defining a rotational axis (62). The drive shaft (68) is coupled for co-rotation with the motor output shaft about the rotational axis (62). The drive shaft (68) has an eccentric portion (70) configured to orbit about the rotational axis (62). A sanding pad (100) is coupled to the eccentric portion (70). A handle (16) extends from the housing (14) at an oblique angle greater than 90 degrees relative to the rotational axis (62). A battery pack (26) is coupled to the handle (16) for providing power to the electric motor (58). The orbital sander (10) is convenient for users to grasp.

摘要： A fastener driver includes a cylinder, a moveable piston positioned within the cylinder, and a driver blade attached to the piston and movable therewith between a top-dead-center (TDC) position and a bottom-dead-center (BDC) position. A lifter is operable to move the driver blade from the BDC position toward the TDC position. A transmission is provided for providing torque to the lifter. The lifter includes a hub and a plurality of lugs extending therefrom. Each lug is engageable with the driver blade when moving the driver blade from the BDC position toward the TDC position. The hub and the lugs are integrally formed as a single piece. The lifter includes a first side and an opposite second side. Each of the first side and the second side is flat.

摘要： A rotary hammer includes a motor, a spindle coupled to the motor for receiving torque from the motor, a piston at least partially received within the spindle for reciprocation therein, a striker received within the spindle for reciprocation in response to reciprocation of the piston, and an anvil received within the spindle and positioned between the striker and a tool bit. The rotary hammer also includes a retainer received within the spindle for selectively securing the striker in an idle position in which it is inhibited from reciprocating within the spindle, and an O-ring positioned between the retainer and the spindle. The O-ring is disposed around an outer peripheral surface of the anvil. The O-ring is compressible in response to the striker assuming the idle position. The compressed O-ring imparts a frictional force on the outer peripheral surface of the anvil to decelerate the anvil.

摘要： A power tool having a paddle switch is configured to allow easier actuation of a switch mechanism. The power tool comprises a housing, a support surface disposed within the housing, a switch mechanism having a first position and a second position, a paddle member including an input surface and a hinge pin positioned a distance from the support surface, and a multiplier member pivotally connected to the hinge pin and having a first arm and a second arm. The first arm of the multiplier member extends from the hinge pin along a first longitudinal axis, and the second arm of the multiplier member extends from the hinge pin along a second longitudinal axis that is not parallel to the first longitudinal axis. The second arm is disposed to contact the support surface when force is applied to the input surface, causing rotation of the multiplier member about the hinge pin. The rotation of the hinge pin causes the first arm to contact the switch mechanism and move it from the first position to the second position.
