摘要： PURPOSE:To drastically reduce power and equipment cost by sucking in high temperature and low temperature sea water in a two-phase flow respectively with a boiling action of air and refrigerant to be injected into their respective feed lines. CONSTITUTION:An injection nozzle 26, connected to an air compressor 24, is inserted into a suction pump 23 designed to suck in high temperature sea water 27. An injection nozzle 19, connected to a refrigerant compressor 16 a refrigeraut condensor 18, is inserted into a suction pump 12 designed to suck in low temperature sea water 21. Both high temperature sea water 27 and low temperature sea water 21 are sucked up in a two-phase flow by boling the air and refrigerant to be injected into their respective feed lines. This construction can eliminate the need of a large capacity of suction pump and replace it with a small-sized compressor having a small capacity and power required. Therefore, the cost of power as well as equipment can be sharply reduced.

CONSTITUTION:Around a plurality of heating pipe 1, a formed powder metal body 3 formed of collection of metal powder 2 is fixed, If this heat transmitting element 4 is used for a heat exchanger 5, a fluid A is heated or cooled by exchanging heat while it passes through the formed powder metal body 3 heated or cooled by a fluid B flowing in the inside pipes 1. In this case, passages formed in the formed powder metal body 3 are narrow and turn into many directions, therefore, a turbulent state is caused, and the heat transfer rate and the heating area of the heat exchanger become large. In addition, since the pipes 1 are surrounded by the formed powder metal body 3, the pressure resistance of the heat exchanger is increased.

摘要： PURPOSE:To increase the heat transmitting area per unit volume and improve the heat transmission efficiency of the heat exchanger by arranging within a fluid passage the heat transmission pies of a relatively small diameter intersecting to form grid as a whole and piled in a layers. CONSTITUTION:Two pairs of pipe plates (10a, 10c) ad (10b, 10d) are opposed to define the fluid passage 11, and between these pipe plates are supported the heat transmission pipes 13a and 13b which intersecting each other to form a heat transmission pipe group 12. The heat transmission pipes 13a and 13b are all opened outside of the pipe plate 10a-10d to communicate with rectangular spaces 16a-16d formed outside of these plates 10a-10d with boxlike members 15a-15d. The spaces 16a and 16d are connected and opened with inlet pipes 18a and 18b, while the spaces 16c and 16d are connected and opened with outlet pipes 19a and 19b. With such a construction, the heat transmission area per unit volume can be enlarged, thereby providing a compact heat exchanger without degrading the performance thereof.

摘要： PURPOSE:To control the exchanged heat quantity between two fluids by providing a partition doubly, putting fluid in between the partitions, and changing the level of the fluid. CONSTITUTION:In the method wherein heat exchange is performed by making process fluid A and medium fluid B, whose temperature is different from each other, contact with each other with partitions 2 and 3 between them, these partitions 2 and 3 are provided doubly, the liquid 4 is put in a space 5 surrounded by the partitions 2 and 3, and the level thereof is changed. When the surface H of the liquid 4 rises, the heat transferring area of two fluids A and B between the partitions 2 and 3 is enlarged and the exchanged heat quantity increases. And when the surface H of the liquid lowers, the heat transferring area of two fluids A and B between the partitions 2 and 3 is reduced and the exchanged heat quantity is also reduced. By changing the level of the liquid 4 by a proper means in this way, the exchanged heat quantity can be controlled.
