    • An image processing apparatus according to the present invention has: an apparatus main body whose external appearance is configured from an upper casing, a lower casing, and a link casing that vertically links the upper casing and the lower casing and that has a paper discharge opening for discharging paper on one side face; a paper discharge portion that is formed as a space between the upper casing and the lower casing and that is to store paper discharged from the paper discharge opening; and an operation panel portion that is disposed in a vertically tiltable manner on a front face of the upper casing. When viewing the apparatus main body from the front side, an open space that allows paper discharged to the paper discharge portion to be viewed is provided between the operation panel portion and the link casing.

    • A developing device includes a developer bearing body, a first developer supply member, a second developer supply member, and a compression member. The developer bearing body bears a developer. The first developer supply member supplies the developer to the developer bearing body. The compression member opposes, and is out of contact with, the first developer supply member.     • To automate positioning operation of an X-ray tube so as to reduce the inspection time. Anatomical program selection means selects a surgery method/imaging object portion so that an imaging condition stored as an anatomical program in advance is called out and set in an X-ray generation device. Here, when an operation switch is pressed, control means moves drive means built in X-ray irradiation means parallel movement holding means and X-ray irradiation means rotation holding means so as to obtain the positional relationship between an X-ray tube and an FPD stored in correspondence with the anatomical program (such as SID and incident angle). The position of the FPD should be matched with the examinee. However, since the positional relationship between the X-ray tube and the FPD is almost constant in accordance with the surgery method/imaging object portion, it is possible to reduce the time required for positioning the X-ray tube by using this configuration.

    • A developing apparatus includes a developing roller, a toner-supplying roller, and at least one toner-supplying member. The developing roller develops an electrostatic latent image formed on a photoconductive drum with toner. The toner-supplying roller is formed of a foamed material and rotates in contact with the developing roller to supply the toner to the developing roller. The toner-supplying member is disposed over the toner-supplying roller and opposes an upper surface of the toner-supplying roller. The toner-supplying member approaches the toner-supplying roller periodically to supply the toner to the toner-supplying roller. When the toner-supplying member is closest to the toner-supplying roller, the developer-supplying member and the toner-supplying roller are either in contact with each other or are spaced apart by a distance not longer than 0.8 mm.

    • In a cassette tray for radiography, a positioning plate is provided on a rear surface of a tray, and the positioning plate includes grooves corresponding to cassette sizes. A stopper for holding a cassette has a spring, and engaging pieces which engage the groove and formed at a lower end of a slider moving vertically between a front plate of the tray and the positioning plate. When the engaging pieces of the stopper engage the grooves, the stopper projects from the front surface of the tray to hold the cassette at the position. When the engaging pieces of the stopper do not engage the grooves, the stopper is located on the same plane as the front plate surface of the tray. If the stopper is pressed and moved along the surface of the tray, the position for the cassette to be used can be selected. Accordingly, the cassette tray can securely hold various-sized cassettes, and the attaching operation therefor can be carried out easily in a short period of time.
