    • An automatic teller machine according to embodiments of the present invention comprises: a medium transfer unit for transferring paper media supplied from a medium storage unit for storing the paper media; a carrier position adjustment unit which is prepared at a rear end of the medium transfer unit and at which a medium carrier for carrying out the paper medium in a stacked state of the paper media transferred along the medium transfer unit is provided rotatably; and a sheet roller unit which is rotatably provided between the medium transfer unit and the carrier position adjustment unit, transfers the paper media on the medium transfer unit to the inside of the medium carrier by a rotational operation, and aligns the paper media stored in the inside of the medium carrier, the sheet roller unit being in contact with the paper media so as to generate much friction force in a central area in comparison with an outer area when transferring the paper media on the medium transfer unit to the medium carrier or aligning the paper media stored in the inside of the medium carrier. According to the present invention, the sheet roller unit can correctly align the paper media temporarily stacked on the medium carrier by the rotational operation thereof and thereby can provide the paper media correctly aligned in a payment unit even if for example, the paper media of skewed states are inputted in a stack space of the medium carrier.
