摘要： PURPOSE: To execute the conversion of level 0 data containing a track predicted value into level 0 data containing a track determined value in a short time with minimum hardware used. CONSTITUTION: Level 0 data containing a track predicted value are assumed to be recorded on a magnetic tape in an ANSI DI format, for instance. A computer 5 holding a track determined value, a data recorder 1 controlled by the computer 5, a data recorder interface 2 executing input/output of data for the data recorder 1 and a memory 3 storing the data to be inputted to or outputted from the data recorder 1 through the intermediary of the data recorder interface 2 are provided. The magnetic tape being reproduced first, information containing the track predicted value is read in the memory 3, this track predicted value is updated by the track determined value held by the computer and an updated track determined value is written in the part on the magnetic tape wherein the track predicted value has been written.
