    • PURPOSE:To surely make a large quantity of track jumps in a short time, by detecting the prescribed state of vibrations caused by wobbling in accordance with tracking error signals and generating jump driving signals in response to the detection. CONSTITUTION:A comparator 13 detects a prescribed state of vibrations caused by wobbling as the sine wave change of the relative position of an information reading point and recording track in the radial direction of a disk and a controller 11 outputs a jump driving signal through a differentiation circuit 12 in response to the detected output. The jump is performed by means of an actuator composed of a driving coil 8 and tracking mirror 9 when the vibration reaches the vicinity of the outermost peripheral section and the speed becomes slow and, simultaneously, an analog switch 6 is turned off and a servo loop is opened. When a tracking error signal reaches zero thereafter, a positive jump signal is outputted from the controller 11 and, simultaneously, the switch 6 is turned on and the servo loop is closed, and then, the information reading point is pulled to the adjacent track.

    • PURPOSE:To execute a smooth shift to tracking driving by detecting a descent completion to a record disk surface of a needle tip at a pickup cartridge whose descent is started by an output of an intermusic detector, by a tracking error detector. CONSTITUTION:A pickup arm 2 provided with a pickup cartridge 1 on the tip part is supported so as to be displaceable by an arm holder 3, and attached to the lower part of a carrier 4. The carrier 4 is moved linearly along guide bars 6a, 6b by a linear motor. An intermusic detector is provided in the vicinity of the cartridge 1, and a tracking error detector for detecting a relative displacement of the arm 2 and the holder 3 is provided in the vicinity of a rotation supporting point of the arm 2. Also, a moving speed of the carrier 4 is detected by a generator. A system controller lowers the needle tip of the cartridge 1 by an output of the detector, and when a window comparator detects the descent exactly, a changeover switch S is switched to a fixed contact, and the pickup arm is driven smoothly.
