摘要： This specification discloses trays for use with a gaming machine. At least a first tray is mountable in adjacent intermediate the gaming interface side of a gaming machine and a game player so that the user may readily rest or access a drink and food located on the tray. A second tray may also be mountable on the first tray in order to expand or alter the tray support configuration provided the two trays together. The tray(s) may be removably mounted to the front of the gaming machine, or they may be rotatably or moveably mounted on the side of the gaming machine. The trays are preferably made of economical, molded, lightweight, resilient, and machine-washable materials, such as polystyrene or other plastic. The trays may also be made of other materials, which when used in conjunction with covers, can help maintain the temperature of food at other than room temperature.

The dual matrix tracking apparatus may be implemented at a driving range to facilitate skill-based games, wagering games, and the combination thereof. The dual matrix tracking apparatus includes a first shadow sensor array, a second shadow sensor array, and a control unit. The dual matrix tracking apparatus senses a first projectile position within the first shadow sensor array and associates a first time with the first position. The dual matrix tracking apparatus further senses a second projectile position within the second shadow sensor array and associates a second time with the second position. The control unit then determines a predicted ball flight path from the first ball position, the second ball position, the first time, and the second time.

The system uses an overlay game to present an entertaining display to a player upon the occurrence of a win or trigger event. An overlay game has limited capabilities and additionally is engineered to be usable on a variety of gaming machines. To be usable on a variety of gaming machines, the overlay game is intentionally kept simple; in one case, it comprises a visual display that is shown to a player upon the occurrence of a trigger event. In another embodiment, it requires a simple button press to start the overlay game. The overlay games are downloaded on an as-needed basis, run on the gaming machine, and then discarded.
