The mapping information may be obtained from the access and mobility function (AMF), and may relate to each new allocation of a UE to an NSI. Alternatively, the information may be obtained from the session management function (SMF), and may indicate which UEs have active PDU sessions allocated to the NSI. The QoE information corresponding to the UEs may be obtained from the network data analytics function (NWDAF). The QoE for the slice instance may be determined by the network slice selection function (NSSF). Based on NSI level QoE metrics, the network may trigger a redistribution of load among NSIs.

摘要： A multi-USIM user equipment (UE) which is active on a first network receives a paging request from a second network. The UE determines 202 if the paging request includes an indication, such as a paging cause, that it must service (‘heed’) the request. If the paging request does not include the indication, the UE may determine 203 if there are performance reasons not to accept the request. If so, it may further determine 204 whether the paging cause is prioritised, and drop the paging request 205 if not. The UE may then inform the second network that it will not service the request. If the UE is active on the first network as a result of a previous paging request which included the indication, subsequent requests from the second network may be dropped. The scheme allows a UE to drop or ignore paging messages without the need for the UE to first service the page. It may be used in a 5G New Radio telecommunications network.
