    • A surveillance method monitors a monitored area using a monitoring station. The monitoring station in electronic communication with an actuator, an image capture device, and a plurality of motion sensors. The presence of motion in the monitored area is detected in real-time using the motion sensors. When the motion is detected, a target region in the monitored area where the motion is detected is determined, and a control signal is sent to the actuator according to the target region to control the image capture device to aim at the target region using the actuator. Real-time images of the target region are captured, and stored in a storage system of the monitoring station.

    • A fan control system includes a fan and a fan control circuit. The fan control circuit includes a connector, a control unit, a switch unit, and a delay unit. The control unit is connected to the connector to receive a rotation speed control signal, and connected to the fan. The switch unit is connected to the connector to receive a voltage signal, and connected to the control unit. The delay unit is connected to the connector to receive the rotation speed control signal, and connected to the switch unit. When the delay unit receives the rotation speed control signal, the delay unit outputs a control signal to turn on the switch unit after a time delay, the voltage is transmitted to the control unit through the switch unit, the fan operates, the control unit controls rotation speed of the fan according to the rotation speed control signal.

    • A method for testing rotation speed of a fan receives a duty cycle ratio related to the fan sent from a dial switch on a test board connected to the fan. The method transmits a pulse width modulation (PWM) signal based on the duty cycle to the fan to power rotation of the fan, then detects the PWM signal transmitted to the fan and a tachometer (TACH) signal transmitted from the fan. The method gathers the duty cycle ratio related to the fan from the PWM signal and an actual rotation speed of the fan from the TACH signal, and displays the duty cycle ratio and the actual rotation speed together on the test board.

    • A bridging board configured for connecting a processor with a hard disk backboard includes a first signal connecting apparatus, a second signal connecting apparatus, a plurality of duplexer and a signal conditioner.     • A server includes a number of first and second network cards, a buffer, a restart circuit, an AND gate, and a south bridge. Each of the first network cards includes a first signal pin to transmit a wake-up signal and a restart signal. Each of the second network cards includes a second signal pin to transmit a wake-up signal. The restart circuit is connected to each of the first signal pins through the buffer to receive the restart signal, and reboots the server according to the restart signal.
