摘要： A system level search user interface that includes both a data entry portion and a search identification portion is displayed. Data input by a user as a search term is displayed in the data entry portion, and identifiers of each of one or more scopes on the computing device that can be searched using the search term are displayed in the search identification portion. Search results based on a selected scope are displayed in a search results portion of the system level search user interface. A set of keyboard shortcuts allow users to quickly search using any of the scopes, and see previews of a number of results that each of the scopes return. Additionally, the system level search user interface allow users to easily focus on different search result entries, and efficiently change scopes for searching.

摘要： A plurality of integrated circuits in a system, each having a program memory loaded with different sections of a program, and a second memory. The integrated circuits perform the program, such that, when one of the integrated circuits requires a portion of the program, which is contained in its own program memory, it extracts it from the program memory and uses it, but when it requires a portion of the program, which is not contained in its own program memory, it reads it from the program memory of one of the other integrated circuits into its second memory and runs that portion of the program from there. In one example, the system is a line card, and the program is specific to one DSL protocol.

摘要： A system for generating a plurality of noise-deteriorated images from an image displayable on a computer display for deterring unauthorized reuse of the image is disclosed. The system relates to transforming an image displayable on a computer display into a plurality of frequency components, and generating a noise sequence for each frequency component in the plurality of frequency components, each noise sequence having a plurality of noise numbers. The system also relates to selecting, in relation to a first noise-deteriorated image, a first noise number from each noise sequence, and deteriorating each frequency component in the plurality of frequency components using the first noise number from each noise sequence corresponding to each frequency component in the plurality of frequency components to form a noise deteriorated frequency component in a first plurality of noise-deteriorated frequency components. The system further relates to transforming the first plurality of noise-deteriorated frequency components into the first noise-deteriorated image for displaying on the computer display.
