摘要： The present disclosure provides systems and methods associated with a golf tee configured to impart a spin to a golf ball prior to impact between the golf ball and the golf club face. The golf tee includes a retention mechanism configured to releasably secure a golf ball to a contact surface of the golf tee while a rotation mechanism rotates the golf tee or a spin mechanism spins the golf ball, thereby imparting spin to the golf ball. The golf tee may further include a processing unit configured to control the retention mechanism and rotation mechanism or spin mechanism. The processing unit may communicate with various external or local sensors, for example, a swing sensor, an environmental sensor, or the like, to control the golf tee to spin the golf ball to achieve a particular post impact trajectory.

摘要： The present invention comprises a base coupled to a water source, the base outputting a stream of water for supporting a toy ball in mid air. The base includes filtering device for substantially eliminating turbulence from the water stream so that it is substantially laminar. The flowing stream contacts a toy ball and lifts it into a position of equilibrium where the upward force of the stream balances the downward force of gravity acting on the ball so that the ball is suspended in mid air. The flowing water clings to the surface of the ball and generates a force tending to center the ball in this supporting stream. If the ball becomes off center, an unequal force on the side of the ball furthest from the center of the stream will force the ball back to the stream center.

This device includes a housing having side walls being generally cylindrical and a top and bottom. A blower is positioned securely with respect to a mounting platform generally centrally within the housing and the housing defines apertures for receiving and expelling air therefrom. An outlet controlling device is affixed to the upper end of the housing within the outlet aperture to control the distance and speed of upwardly moving air used to support a tennis ball. The devices within the support device are resiliently mounted or insulated with respect to one another such as to minimize sound transmission between parts of the support device to provide a quietly functioning design. Also insulation is used throughout the chamber defined within the housing to further minimize noise and vibration. The height of the ball can be controlled by movement of the outlet control device or a change of shape or design thereof.

摘要： A play device for suspending a floatable object such as a foam plastic ball or a ping pong ball in an air stream and selectively manipulating the direction and position of the air stream so as to move the ball into areas defined by movable structures. The structures are themselves movable when contacted by the air stream to thereby move the ball-receiving areas and increase the difficulty and excitement of the play of the device. The areas may comprise passageways completely through the movable structures or may be the entrances to receptacles in which the ball may be received or may be defined areas adjacent to portions of the structures. The air stream may be provided by a hand-held blower unit which preferrably includes a cradle for the ball. The cradle includes apertures or openings therein which permits the ball to be lifted by the air stream from a starting position in the cradle and suspended in the air stream a substantial distance above the cradle. This permits the ball to be moved relative to the areas without the blower making physical contact with the movable structures which define the areas.The air stream may have a generally constant thrust so as to maintain the ball a generally constant and predetermined distance from the blower unit. Movement of the ball is accomplished by varying the location of the blower unit (i.e. up, down, or to the side) and by varying the orientation of the unit (i.e., its angle or level, front to back and side to side).
