    • Le jouet avec parachute presente deux bras (26) formant pince, articules a une tete (2) et sur lesquels agit un ressort (3) pour provoquer l'ecartement des bras. A l'extremite inferieure de chaque bras est articule un large panneau (28) sur lequel agit la pression de l'air et auquel sont fixees les attaches (64) du parachute. Les panneaux presentent des prolongements (29) s'etendant vers le haut et qui s'engagent, en position fermee de la pince, avec une partie correspondante (24a) des bras. La tete est portee par un support au-dessus de la pince. Pour utiliser le jouet, le parachute est dispose a l'interieur de la pince maintenue en position fermee. Puis le jouet est lance ou catapulte dans l'air. La pression de l'air agissant sur les panneaux empeche l'ouverture de la pince par le ressort jusqu'a ce que le point le plus eleve de la trajectoire soit atteint. Alors la pince s'ouvre grace a l'action du ressort et le parachute se deploie par l'ecartement des bras et des panneaux.

    • The invention is designed to lift any model glider/sailplane to a given height using a device coupled thereto, after which the device is released and subsequently recovered. The invention consists of a device (7) positioned against the glider/sailplane (13) and comprising any form of motorisation (8), a parachute (3), radio equipment, and release and location-finding systems; and the corresponding complementary devices installed in the glider/sailplane (13). The invention is suitable for use with any type of model glider/sailplane, particularly those that are large, and provides the following technical solutions which are lacking in traditional systems: a clean aerodynamic configuration, no unnecessary additional weight, and a fully autonomous use and operating process. The invention relates to the device (7), all of the components thereof and the use of same to lift any type of glider/sailplane to a pre-determined height, after which the device (7) is released and recovered. The invention provides a completely alternative solution.

    • The object of the invention is a method to replace the control signal of an operation organ of a remote controlled flying apparatus with another signal. The signal to be replaced (a, b, etc., y, z, etc.) is a signal to be sent from the safety unit (5) to the speed regulator (7) that controls at least one operation organ or servo controlling it or a signal to be sent to servo controlling other operation organ and the replacing signal (x, y \ ,z \ , etc.) is a signal in the memory of the safety unit (5) that is capable of controlling the mentioned speed regulator or servo in such a way that the rotation speed of the motor (6) is essentially changed or the position of other by servo controlled operation organ is changed. In the method, the replacing signal is stored in the memory of the safety unit (5) and in a faulty situation the safety unit interrupts sending the signal to be replaced and feeds instead the replacing signal. As an application of the invention the mentioned replacing of the signal is connected to the opening of the parachute (8) and then the opening of the parachute of the flying apparatus causes automatically a considerable decreasing of the motors (6) rotation speed. The replacing signal can also be directed past the safety unit to its target.

    • A parachute has a canopy (1) supported by rigid support members (2) which are connected to a ring (3). The parachute is adapted to be thrown in the air in the closed condition and then to open and float downwardly. In one embodiment a shank (9) is provided having an enlarged end which engages a ring (6) provided at the centre of the canopy. A weight (11) is mounted on the shank. The arrangement is such that the shank remains engaged with the ring whilst the parachute travels upwardly, but then becomes disengaged therefrom to enable the canopy to open.
