    • PURPOSE: A method for processing discharge ozone using an alkaline reductive aqueous solution is provided to cost-effectively destruct the discharge ozone at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. CONSTITUTION: Discharge ozone gas, which is exhaust gas containing non-used ozone, is discharged from a process using ozone. An alkaline aqueous solution containing a reductive material is sprayed toward the discharge ozone gas in order to contact the discharge ozone gas and the aqueous solution. The discharge ozone gas is supplied from the lower side thereof toward the upper side thereof in a reaction bath. The alkaline aqueous solution is downwardly sprayed from the upper side of the reaction bath. The alkaline aqueous solution generates a reaction which destructs ozone contained in the discharge ozone gas. The used alkaline aqueous solution is collected at the lower side of the reaction bath to be circulated.
