Dadurch, dass die rotierende Einlegevorrichtung der Etikettiervorrichtung Gelenkarme umfasst, an denen jeweils ein Greifer drehbar gelagert ist, können Etiketten bei vergleichsweise geringer Relativgeschwindigkeit aus feststehenden Magazinen entnommen werden. Ebenso können die Gelenkarme der Bahnkurve der Blasformen beim Einlegen der Etiketten mit hoher Geschwindigkeit folgen. Gleichzeitig ermöglicht die drehbare Lagerung der Greifer eine exakte radiale Orientierung des Greifers bezüglich der Drehachse des sich während des Etiketteinlegens weiter drehenden Blasrads. Dies ermöglicht eine besonders genaue und zuverlässige Etikettierung.

摘要： A labeler for labeling plastic containers in the blow mold as well as to a labeling method for use of the labeler, where due to the fact that the rotating insertion device of the labeler comprises articulated arms having each rotatably supported thereon a gripper, it is possible to remove labels from stationary magazines at a comparatively low relative speed. The articulated arms are able to follow the path of the blow molds during insertion of the labels with high speed. The grippers are rotatably supported which allows an exact radial orientation of the gripper with respect to the axis of rotation of the blow wheel that continues to rotate during insertion of the labels, to thus allow a particularly accurate and reliable labeling.

摘要： An in-mold labeling apparatus and method has a label magazine for dispensing a plurality of labels in sequence on an endless belt transfer conveyor. A first transfer head removes the labels from the magazine in sequence and places the labels on the conveyor. A drive member indexes the conveyor to space the labels on the conveyor in a direction parallel to the cavity spacing by an amount corresponding to the spacing between the cavities. A carriage is disposed for movement from a first position adjacent the transfer conveyor to a second position adjacent the cavities of the split blow mold. The carriage has at least two second transfer heads operable in the first position of the carriage to pick up labels from the transfer conveyor and operable in the second position to deposit the labels into the mold cavities.

摘要： Shuttle blow molding apparatus having an extruder for substantially continuously extruding a thermoplastic material in tubular form at a moldable temperature downwardly along a vertical axis. A first finite length of the thermoplastic material is grasped by a first mold set, which then moves outwardly and downwardly with respect to the extruder to provide clearance for a second mold set to move to a position to grasp a second finite length of the extruded thermoplastic tube. The first mold set is then moved horizontally away to permit the finite length of thermoplastic tube therein to be blown into a hollow article, and thereafter removed from the first mold set at a second position of the first mold set. The second mold set, after grasping a second finite length of the extruded thermoplastic tube, moves outwardly in a direction opposed to the direction of movement of the first mold set away from the extruder and downwardly to permit the extruded length of thermoplastic tube therein to be blown into a hollow article, and thereafter removed from the second mold set at the position where the hollow articles are removed from the first mold set.
