    • The method of producing a decorative interlayer for laminated glass in accordance with the present invention comprises the steps of: (a) forming a transfer sheet (1) having a desired printing pattern (12) printed in ink capable of dyeing a interlayer made of a thermoplastic resin for laminated glass, on a transfer sheet substrate (11); (b) applying a solvent (2) capable of softening to some extents the vehicle of the printing inkand the interlayer (3) to the printed pattern surface (12) of the resulting transfer sheet (1) andllor) the surface of the interlayer; (c) transferring and infiltrating the printed pattern into the surface of the interlayer by superposing the surface of the printed pattern (12) or the interlayer (3) through the coated surface of the solvent and pressing them at a temperature lower than the glass transition point of the interlayer; and (d) obtaining the decorative intertayer for laminated glass by peeling off the transfer sheet substrate (11) from the interlayer (3) and drying the same. The decorative interlayer for laminated glass obtained through these steps does not allow bubbles to remain when it is bonded to the laminated glass and used. Since coloring can be made uniform, too, a glass product having a beautiful appearance can be obtained.
