    • A cover system (10) for an open-topped container, such as a transfer trailer (T), includes a cover (11) carried by a support frame (13) pivotably mounted to the container. The support frame includes a triangular construct (20) at the opposite ends of the container to improve the rigidity of the cover system. A continuous drive shaft (28) extends along the length of the container and is connected to the support frame. A drive assembly (15) rotates the continuous drive shaft to pivot the cover between retracted and deployed positions. The drive assembly is reversible to accommodate covers mounted on either side of the container.

    • PURPOSE: A wing body structure for a wing body truck is provided to prevent distortion of a wing shaft, to stably open and shut a wing, and to improve durability of the shaft and the wing. CONSTITUTION: In a wing body structure(100) for a wing body truck, a wing(110) is opened and shut by wing frames(120,140) and a shaft(160) driven by a deceleration motor(170). The wing is combined to a support(130) formed to the upper ends of the wing frames by a hinge member(113). A reinforcing plate(111) with a fitting member(112) is formed to the middle part of the wing. The shaft with a fitting projection(161) to be movably fitted to the fitting member is rotatably combined to the support by a bracket(162). Springs are formed between the wing and the support, to easily lift up the wing.
