摘要： An optical system includes a lens and reflector configured to form a wide angle beam from light emitted from an array of LEDs by modifying only the component of emitted light that diverges from a reference plane. A central portion of the lens collimates emitted LED light relative to the reference plane containing the optical axes of the LEDs. A peripheral portion of the lens re-directs emitted LED light into an orientation perpendicular to the reference plane. The reflector surrounds the periphery of the lens and re-directs light from the peripheral portion of the lens into a direction parallel with the reference plane. The linear array of LEDs may include sub arrays projecting away from a support plane to enhance visibility of a resulting light signal from vantage points close to or aligned with the support plane.

摘要： A vehicle lamp color-changing device includes a bracket, a swinging unit mounted to the bracket and swingable about an imaginary axis, and a rotary driving unit. The swinging unit includes a colored lens and an eccentric member disposed offset from the imaginary axis. The rotary driving unit has a rotary drive mounted to the bracket, a swingable arm connected with the rotary drive, and a pulling rod connected with the swingable arm and the eccentric member pivotally. In this way, the swingable arm is drivenable by the rotary drive to drive the pulling rod to move the eccentric member and thereby cause the swinging unit to swing in a way that the colored lens is swingable between an active position and an inactive position. As a result, the vehicle lamp color-changing device responds fast and is small-sized so as to be easily arranged in the vehicle lamp.

The light guiding device includes a light guide medium component configured to allow light to be transmitted through it from one end thereof to another end thereof. A light guide fixing component is arranged on the light guide medium component and configured to fix the light guide medium component, wherein the light guide medium component and the light guide fixing component are both at least partly made of a transparent material. The light guide fixing component has a light directing portion configured to direct the light leaked from the light guide medium component into the light guide fixing component to exit the light guide fixing component away from a predetermined direction. Using the light guiding device and the vehicle lamp according to the present utility model can prevent light exiting the light guide fixing component from forming undesirable light spots in an undesirable direction.

This enables the turning on of a stop lamp to be made more clearly visible by a factor other than the light intensity.
