    • The invention concerns a device for shooting at least two arrows comprising, for each of the arrows, a rocker (10) adapted to pivot about a pin (12) integral with the weapon frame (14), the rocker comprising means for retaining (16) the arrow which is subjected to a tension exerted by elastic shock cords fixed on the weapon forestock, a trigger (32) comprising at least first and second triggering means (34) each adapted to cause the associated rocker to pivot and cancel the action of the retaining means associated therewith when the trigger shifts from its inoperative position to respectively a first position for shooting a first arrow and a second position for shooting a second arrow. The device comprises for each of the rockers a half-trigger (22) which shifts, by the action of its associated triggering means, from a first position adapted to maintain the rocker in retaining position to a second position adapted to cancel the action of the retaining means so as to enable the arrow to be shot.

    • The pistol has the back safety brake (5) which is pressed by a palm when taking a pistol grip, then it moves away under the rear part of the lever for the firing (3) and the fire can be performed.     • A lock for a firearm is disclosed. The firearm has a grip safety and a sear engageable to a biased hammer in a cocked position and releasable by a trigger. The lock includes a housing defining a bore within which a mainspring biasing the hammer is revived. A latch is rotatably mounted to the housing and has a grip safety arm and a cam follower, and has a first rotational excursion with the grip safety arm in engagement with and restricting the grip safety to block movement of the trigger, and an opposed second rotational excursion with the grip safety arm in disengagement from the grip safety to unblock depression of the grip safety and movement of the trigger. An actuator is mounted to the housing and cooperatively linked to the latch, and provides motive force for positioning the larch in the first rotational excursion and the second rotational excursion.

    • The invention is directed to a dry-fire prevention device for use with a crossbow. The crossbow includes a trigger mechanism which may have a guide slot into which a bowstring is drawn and retained for firing. A pivotal string catch member is positioned relative to the trigger mechanism to selectively extend into a string catching position which will catch and retain the bowstring should it be released from the trigger mechanism without an arrow in a firing position in the crossbow. The string catch member may include an arrow contacting surface to engage an arrow positioned to be fired from the crossbow, wherein, movement of the arrow to the firing position causes the string catch member to be moved out of the string catching position. This allows selective release of the bowstring from the guide slot and prevents inadvertent release when no arrow is present in the firing position. The string catch member may be manually removed from the guide slot so as not to interfere with the bowstring, allowing a convenient mechanism to uncock the crossbow without firing. In the preferred embodiment, the dry fire prevention device is automatically reset to prevent inadvertent dry firing of the crossbow after manually releasing the bowstring.
