    • A pod assembly (10) is disclosed. The pod assembly (10) includes a leg indexing portion (12) formed by a biased latch subassembly (24) and an indexing plate (22) connected to the biased latch subassembly (24) by a pivot pin (26). The biased latch subassembly (24) includes a shaft body (28), a rocker latch (38), a latch pin (42) that rotatably-connects (R / R') the rocker latch (38) to the shaft body (28), a biasing member (36) disposed against the rocker latch (38) and the shaft body (28) and a latch actuator (48) engaging a portion of the shaft body (28). The shaft body (28) of the biased latch subassembly (24) defines a shaft body pivot-pin-receiving passage (30a). The indexing plate (22) includes a plate body (64) defining a device-engaging body portion (64a) and a biased latch subassembly-engaging body portion (64b) extending from the device-engaging body portion (64a) at a biased latch subassembly-engaging body portion angle (ϕ). The plate body (64) further defines an indexing plate pivot-pin-receiving passage (70) extending through at least one of the firearm-engaging body portion (64a) and the biased latch subassembly-engaging body portion (64b). The pivot pin (26) is disposed within each of the indexing plate pivot-pin-receiving passage (70) and the shaft body pivot-pin-receiving passage (30a) for pivotally-connecting (P / P') the biased latch subassembly (24) to the indexing plate (22).
