摘要： A first optical measurement of tissue with a first optical device is initiated. The first optical measurement includes a first shallow optical reading and a first deeper optical reading. A second optical measurement of the tissue with a second optical device spaced is initiated. The second optical device is spaced apart from the first optical device. The second optical measurement includes a second shallow optical reading and a second deeper optical reading. A first difference value between the first shallow optical reading and the first deeper optical reading is determined. A second difference value between the second shallow optical reading and the second deeper optical reading is determined. A large vessel occlusion (LVO) alert is generated when a ratio of the first difference value to the second difference value is larger than a threshold value.

摘要： A non-invasive system and method are provided. Brain activity of a user is detected using a non-invasive brain interface when the user is exposed to an external stimulus. The user is determined to be negatively primed by the external stimulus based on the detected brain activity. An alert that the user is being negatively primed by the external stimulus is automatically provided. A tagged training session may be automatically provided to the user in response determining that the user has a negative mental state, thereby promoting a positive mental state of the user. A training session list containing the tagged training session may be automatically modified based on the determined mental state of the user.

摘要： A back brace is configured to be worn by a patient for treating spinal deformations. The back brace has at least one pressure sensor configured to be attached to the back brace at a point of pressure with the body of a patient, and at least one strap configured to be tightened for adjusting a pressure at the point of pressure. A control unit is configured to be attached to one of an outside of the back brace and inside a cavity formed in the back brace. The control unit is configured for (a) processing signals from the at least one pressure sensor, (b) communicating with at least one external computing apparatus, (c) informing and guiding in real time and incentivizing a patient to more efficiently wear the back brace by at least providing indications to the patient for tightening the at least one strap by comparing a pressure value provided by the at least one pressure sensor with at least one calibration value, and (d) enabling a doctor to more efficiently monitor, intervene, and manage the patient and treatment in real time.

摘要： Described herein is an ocular fundus imaging apparatus (11) including and an illumination module (140) and an imaging module (141). The illumination module (140) includes light sources (103, 104) configured to generate light at wavelengths within a desired spectral range. A first optical assembly is provided to shape and direct the light onto an eye (102) of a subject. A tuneable bandpass filter (109) selects a wavelength sub-interval within the desired spectral range. The imaging module (141) includes a second optical assembly to collect light returned from the eye (102) of the subject and to project the returned light from the eye (102) onto an image sensor (113). The second optical assembly includes one or more optical elements capable of compensating for ocular variation. The image sensor (113) is configured to image the returned light to generate an image of the ocular fundus at the wavelength sub-interval.

The hypoxic tissue monitoring apparatus may further be configured as a wound dressing (1).
