摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a mechanism for bringing a platen into contact with a print head entirely at a uniform pressure and a thermal printer for facilitating paper feed. CONSTITUTION: A print head is disposed in a supporting bracket 13. 15 represents a leaf spring and a leaf spring 31 is supported, at the opposite ends thereof, by a supporting frame 11. The print head is supported while floating with that contact point as the center. When a slide cover 17 is moved in the direction A and a platen 19 is moved toward a print head, they touch each other entirely with a uniform pressure. A paper can be fed easily by moving the slide cover 17 away from the print head.
