    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonwoven fabric useful as a material for clothes, well fitting the body of a wearer, good in touch, comfortable to wear and excellent in stretchability. SOLUTION: This stretchable nonwoven fabric is obtained by extending and aligning extremely many warp yarns 1 having an extending strain present therein, coating and permeating the outer surface thereof with a water-soluble adhesive 2, then drying and solidifying the adhesive 2, providing a warp yarn aligned sheet 3, cross bias sewing the resultant sheet 3 tilted in two directions from the longitudinal direction of the warp yarns 1 with a needle thread 4 and a bobbin thread 5 of a sewing machine, bunch sewing the warp yarns 1 with the needle thread 4 and the bobbin thread 5 for each prescribed needle handling pitch P, affording a warp yarn aligned sewn sheet 6, washing the resultant sewn sheet 6 with water, melting and removing the water-soluble adhesive 2 from the warp yarns 1, thereby releasing the extending strain present therein from the respective warp yarns 1, swelling the fibers of the warp yarns 1, subsequently drying the resultant swollen fibers, thereby simultaneously shrinking the many warp yarns 1 and curling the many warp yarns 1 for the bias sewing. interval with the shrinking force thereof.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a starching process by controlling the strength of a water flow at the reversal time intervals of a stirring vane, and generating water flows involving a mixture of a plurality of strong and weak water flows in the starching process. CONSTITUTION:In the deceleration mechanism 5 wherein a washing dehydrator 3 and the stirring vane 4 are selectively driven for rotation, the torque of a motor 6 is transmitted via a motor pulley 7, a V-belt 8 and a pulley 9, and the motor 6 is controlled with a control device 10. In a starching process, a deceleration mechanism 5 transmits a drive force to the side of the stirring vane 4 and a water flow is formed within the washing dehydrator 3. The strength of the water flow is so made as to be capable of generating each type of a water flow with the reversal time intervals of the stirring vane 4. In addition, the water flow is separated into a multi-stage suitable for various starching cloth volumes, and made selectable selected with the control device 10. According to the aforesaid construction, washing clothes are less entangled with each other, and an unbalance state due to the partial loading of clothes are not generated. Also, strong and weak water flows are repeated by a plurality of times. As a result, uniform and efficient starching can be done.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starching pretreatment method for laundry in cleaning for business purposes which facilitates starching of the laundry, prevents the alkali burn of the starched laundry in spite of finishing next day, does not give rise to environmental pollution in spite of discharging of cleaning water as it is to rivers and saves resources as just one time of rinsing is necessitated. SOLUTION: This starching pretreatment method for the laundry in cleaning for business purposes comprises setting the water level of a washing basket for cleaning at a middle water level, putting the cleaning water therein, putting the laundry and a proper amount of an alkaline detergent into the washing basket, subjecting the laundry to regular washing for about 15 minutes at around adequate temperature 55 deg.C, then setting the water level of the washing basket at a high level without draining, putting the cleaning water therein, regulating the pH to 6.00 to 7.00 with a neutralizing agent, cleaning the laundry for about 5 minutes at around 45 deg.C, performing rising once after draining and weak dehydrating, then starching the laundry, thereby making the finish of the laundry white.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively obtain a nonwoven cloth comfortably fitting to the body of a wearer as a clothing raw material and giving an excellent wearing feeling with comfortable touch and having decorative property and stretchability. SOLUTION: This elastic nonwoven cloth is obtained by arranging very many warp 1, applying a water-soluble adhesive 2 from outside the face, penetrating and dry- solidifying to obtain a warp arranged sheet 3, then inclining the sheet 3 to two directions to length direction of the warp 1 with a needle thread 4 and a hot water- shrinkable bobbin thread 5 obtained by fixing a stretching processed yarn in a stretched state and cross-bias sewing to obtain a warp arranged sewn sheet 6 in which the warp 1 is bundle-sewn with the needle thread 4 and the bobbin thread 5 at each of a prescribed needle pitch P, thus washing the sewn sheet 6 with hot water to melt and remove the water-soluble adhesive 2 and relaxing fixing of each of the bobbin thread 5 are simultaneously shrunk, then many warp 1 is curled in each of the bias sewn interval to impart the warp stretchability by the shrinking force. When a warp imparted an elongated deviation and fixed is used as the warp 1, a longitudinally and horizontally stretchable nonwoven cloth can be readily and inexpensively obtained and a string-like yarn, a knitted yarn or a cloth tape may be used as each of the warp.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain at a low cost a nonwoven fabric which well fits to the body of a wearer as a raw material for clothes and has a good skin touch, a good wearing touch and excellent elasticity. SOLUTION: This elastic nonwoven fabric is obtained by tensively arranging highly many warps 1 having elongation strains therein on a frame 2 to form a warp-arranged product 3, adhering a water-soluble sheet S to the arranged surface of the obtained warp-arranged product 3, sewing the warp-arranged product 3 and the water-soluble sheet S with the upper thread and the lower thread of a sewing machine in two bias directions at a prescribed needling movement pitch P, detaching the obtained warp-arranged and sewed sheet 6 from the frame 2, washing the detached sheet 6 with water to dissolve off the water-soluble sheet S and simultaneously release the inner elongation strains from the warps 1, respectively, and then drying left warp-arranged product to shrink and simultaneously curl the many warps 1 for each bias sewed distance, thereby imparting the elasticity to the nonwoven fabric. The warps 1 may be strings, braids or cloth tapes.
