    • A compact 180° opposed piston pump/compressor minimizes axial spacing between its pistons on the drive shaft and thereby reduces the shaking couple and noise from reciprocation. Each piston has its own eccentric element press-fit into the connecting rods so as not to occupy space between the pistons. The shaking couple can be further reduced for pistons of different masses by selecting the mass of the cup retainers to compensate for the difference in overall piston masses. The pump also includes an improved cylinder sealing arrangement having a circumferential groove in an angled surface at the end of the cylinder. The pump also has a special cover and seal for closing the open neck of the pump crankcase and an improved multi-lobed valve stop. The pump further uses tubular transfer members for transferring intake and/or exhaust air into the crankcase and/or between valve heads.

    • The present invention relates to a thick matter pump comprising at least two pump units alternating in the pump and suction mode, a delivery line, a suction line and a switching valve for switching between the pump units, one pump unit being connected in the pump mode by the switching valve to the delivery line, and one pump unit being connected to the suction line in the suction mode. The filling level of the pump unit in the suction mode is to be improved. To this end a pressure boosting device which acts independently of the pump units is provided in the area of the suction line for actively effecting a precompression of thick matter. The invention also relates to a suction/pumping method which is carried out by said thick matter pump.

    • A motor and its blade unit include a blade unit made of a conical fundamental body and a plurality of blades formed around the surface of the conical fundamental body. The blades of the blade unit are multi-sectioned ones of different sizes. These blades increase water flowing speed with help of the centrifugal force produced by rotating of the blade unit, and quickly guide water to flow along the outer wall of a motor and out of the motor, not to flow reversely back to a shaft. At the same time these blades can cut impurities in water preventing the motor from clogged by impurities, increasing water flowing-out speed, lowering motor load and electricity consumption and saving motor horsepower to prolong its service life, and also possible to be combined with various types of motors for extensive use.

    • A pump (10) has a housing which forms a pump chamber (17) having a wall (18). Inlet and outlet valve assemblies (19, 20) communicate with the chamber (17) and, respectively, allow fluid to be received in, and discharged from, the chamber (17). An armature (27) carries a plunger (28) and is reciprocatably moved by an electromagnetic coil assembly (25). A coil spring (44) biases the plunger (28) toward a stop surface (41) positioned adjacent to the plunger (28). Upon activation of the coil assembly (25), the plunger. (28) is moved against the force of the spring (44) such that a diaphragm (31) carried by the plunger (28) moves into the chamber (17) without engaging the wall (18) to discharge fluid through the outlet valve assembly (20). When the coil assembly (25) is deactivated, the spring (44) moves the plunger (28) toward the stop surface (41) without allowing it to engage the stop surface (41) to draw fluid in through the inlet valve assembly (19). In another embodiment, a second coil spring (45) is positioned so as to bias the plunger (28) away from the stop surface (41) to prevent the plunger (28) from engaging the stop surface (41) during priming of the pump (10).
