    • A card feeding apparatus (1) realizes random and selective feeding of cards of different types or kinds. This apparatus includes a card supplying device (10), a card holding and feeding device (20), and a controller (40). The card holding and feeding device includes a table set (22) having tables (162A-162H) on which cards from the card supplying device are held, a table set supporting structure (23) (e.g., a frame), a table set moving device (24) (e.g., a lifting mechanism), and a card conveying device (28) that conveys cards held on the tables. In response to a card feeding signal, the table set supporting structure is temporarily stopped using the table set moving device such that a target table designated from the tables by the said signal is located at the card conveying position, and the card holding and feeding device is activated, thereby feeding a card on the target table by the card conveying device.

      [Solving Means]
      A coin delivered from a coin dispenser is moved to tapered convergence space, which is formed by an adjacent elastic partition wall and an inclined elastic partition wall. The kinetic energy of the delivered coin is absorbed when the delivered coin collides with any of elastic members, which constitute the adjacent elastic partition wall and the inclined elastic partition wall. If the coin is rebounded by unabsorbed kinetic energy, the coin immediately collides with the facing adjacent elastic partition wall or inclined elastic partition wall, the kinetic energy is completely eliminated, the coin is dropped onto a carrying belt therebelow, and the coin is quickly dispensed to a coin receiving opening by the carrying belt.

      A carrying belt of coins is set so that the upper surface thereof is moved toward a coin receiving opening.
      A pair of left/right guiding walls are disposed at a predetermined interval therebetween, and lower ends thereof are disposed to be close to each other on the carrying belt of the coins.
      The part between the lower ends of the pair of guiding walls is set so as to have a fan shape widened toward the coin receiving opening on the carrying belt even in consideration of the flatness of plates thereof.
      By virtue of this, even when two coins are juxtaposed, the coins are not jammed between the lower ends of the pair of guiding walls.

      A sorting recess is formed on an upper face of a rotating disk arranged in an inclination state by a sorting recess groove and an arc-shaped mover, and a holding recess is formed in cooperation with an arc-shaped restrictor arranged near an outer periphery of the rotating disk. Only one coin of a largest coin and a smallest coin to be sorted is held in the holding recess, and two smallest coins cannot be held in the holding recess. The mover is linearly moved to a sorting position and a pushing-out position on a peripheral side at a predetermined timing via a cam follower in a radial direction of the rotating disk by means of a ring-like plate-shaped cam, so that a coin is delivered to a coin discriminating device at the pushing-out position. Since the mover is guided at the sorting position by a lower inner face cam of the plate-shaped cam, it is positioned at the sorting position with a high degree of accuracy. Since the mover is guided at the pushing-out position by an upper outer face cam of the plate-shaped cam, it is positioned at the pushing-out position with a high degree of accuracy. Further, by setting the cam profile of the plate-shaped cam properly, a coin is prevented from being flipped out.
