    • A plug-in system (1, 17, 20, 40) comprises a docking device (2, 21, 31) which has a first plug-in module (3, 23, 33) that is bidirectionally displaceable parallel to a connection direction (10, 32) and at least one spring arm (8, 22, 34), as well as a second plug-in module (14, 24, 39) which can be connected to the first plug-in module (3, 23, 33) in the connection direction (10, 32). The first plug-in module (3, 23, 33) and the second plug-in module (14, 24, 39) each comprise at least one line end section (6, 15) of a data transmission line, which are in contact with each other after the first plug-in module (3, 23, 33) and the second plug-in module (14, 24, 39) are connected. The plug-in system (1, 17, 20, 40) can be transferred between a separated state, in which the second plug-in module (14, 24, 39) and the docking device (2, 23, 33) are separated from each other and the spring arm (8, 22, 34) limits a displacement of the first plug-in module (3, 23, 33) at least in the connection direction (10, 32), and a docked state in which the first plug-in module (3, 23, 33) and the second plug-in module (14, 24, 39) are connected to each other and the first plug-in module (3, 23, 33) assumes a position which can be reached by a displacement of the first plug-in module (3, 23, 33) which exceeds the limit in the connection direction (10, 32). When transferring the plug-in system (1, 17, 20, 40) from the separated state into the docked state, the second plug-in module (14, 24, 39) elastically deforms the spring arm (8, 22, 34), as a result of which the spring arm (8, 22, 34) releases the first plug-in module (3, 23, 33) for a displacement in the connection direction (10, 32) over the limit.
