    • If refrigerant leakage is detected by only one method, the detection accuracy is not sufficient. A refrigerant leakage detection system (1) is a system for a refrigeration cycle device (100) having a refrigerant circuit (11). The refrigerant leakage detection system (1) includes a first control unit (10), a second control unit (20), and a third control unit (30). The first control unit (10) uses a first method to determine the presence or absence of refrigerant leakage from the refrigerant circuit (11). The second control unit (20) uses a second method different from the first method to determine the presence or absence of refrigerant leakage from the refrigerant circuit (11). The third control unit (30) determines the presence or absence of refrigerant leakage from the refrigerant circuit (11) on the basis of the determination result of the first control unit (10) and the determination result of the second control unit (20). The third control unit (30) determines that there is a refrigerant leakage in the refrigerant circuit (11) if the first control unit (10) determines that there is a refrigerant leakage from the refrigerant circuit (11) and the second control unit (20) determines that there is a refrigerant leakage from the refrigerant circuit (11).

    • An air handling unit 100 comprises an air treatment unit for treating at least a part of the fresh air via a treatment device 26 that gives rise to a pressure drop as well as a mixing damper 36 for controlling air flow between a return air path 18, 20 and a supply air path 22, 24 and for allowing recycling of air from a return air inlet 10 to a supply air outlet 16. A supply fan sensor 32 is used for measuring a parameter associated with air flow across the supply fan 28. An air treatment unit sensor 38 is used for measuring a pressure drop across the air treatment unit 26 in the supply air path 22, 24. The air handling unit 100 has a control system 50 in order to determine the rate of fresh air flow, as well as optionally other control functions. The control system 50 comprises a memory with stored air flow data concerning a relationship between a rate of fresh air flow at the fresh air inlet 14 and the measured pressure drop across the air treatment unit 26, wherein a processor of the control system 50 is configured to use the stored air flow data and the measured pressure drop to determine the rate of fresh air flow.

    • An air conditioner includes a refrigerant circuit that is formed by connecting, by a refrigerant pipe, an indoor unit including an indoor heat exchanger to an outdoor unit including a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, and an expansion valve, where the refrigerant circuit is filled with a predetermined amount of a refrigerant. The air conditioner includes an acquisition unit that regularly acquires an operating state quantity at a time of air conditioning operation, a storage unit that stores therein the operating state quantity that is acquired by the acquisition unit, an estimation model that estimates a refrigerant remaining amount in the refrigerant circuit by using the operating state quantity, a detection unit that detects, from the storage unit, one of a first operating state quantity being an operating state quantity in a state in which the refrigerant circuit meets a first stability condition and a second operating state quantity being an operating state quantity in a state in which the refrigerant circuit meets a second stability condition that is different from the first stability condition, and a control unit that estimates the remaining refrigerant amount in the refrigerant circuit by using the estimation model and the detected operating state quantity. Even when the air conditioner is actually operating, it is possible to estimate the remaining refrigerant amount in the refrigerant circuit.
