摘要： PURPOSE:A copper compound is previously mixed uniformly with poamide and then the polyamide is blended with polyester to improve the light and heat resistance without adverse effect on melt spinnability. CONSTITUTION:A polyamide such as nylon 6 or 66 is mixed with a copper compound such as copper iodide, preferably together with a compound increasing the compatibility of polyamide such as potassium iodide. Then, the polyamide is blended with a polyester such as polyethylene terephthalate, preferably with an intrinsic viscosity of 0.5-1.0 in OCP at 25 deg.C, so that the amount of polyamide becomes 95-70pts.wt. polyester, 5-30 parts and the copper compound, more than 5ppm, preferably 10-200ppm, calculated as copper metal. Then, the mixture is melt spun to give the objective fiber. The copper compound may be added to the polyamide at any time, e.g., the addition to the monomer, during the polymerization, or after pelletization.

摘要： PURPOSE:Master pellets containing a copper salt in such a condensed concentration that it becomes a specified concentration based on the polyamide when mixed are added to a mixture of polyamide and polyester, thus improving the light and heat resistance without any adverse effect on melt spinnability. CONSTITUTION:A copper compound such as copper iodide is preferably dry blended with a polyamide such as nylon 6 so that the concetration of the copper compound is adjusted to 0.1-5wt%, preferably 0.2-3wt%, thus preparing the master pellets. The master pellets are blended with a pellet mixture of polyamide, as the major ingredient, and polyester so that the amount of polyamide becomes 95- 70pts.wt. polyester, 5-30parts and the copper compound, more than 5ppm, preferably 10-200ppm and the mixture is melt spun to give the objective fiber. The polyester disperses in form of fine and long islands among the sea component of polyamide to increase the bending and tensile toughness of the polyamide and depress the elongation.
