    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect pest control agent-receiving container which is suitable for controlling insect pests, does not cause the leakage of an active ingredient contained in the insect pest control agent even before and when used, and has improved handleability.
      SOLUTION: A chemical-impregnated member 13 received in a receiving space 30 formed between a container main body 11 and a lid 12 on mounting is disposed to be apart from the inner bottom surface 14 with support members 19 disposed on the inner bottom surface 14 of the container main body 11, and the active ingredient of the insect pest control agent is evaporated out from evaporation holes 25 disposed in the surface of the lid 12. Thereby, before or when used, the insect pest control agent does not leak through contact surfaces, and does not leak out, even when set to a receiving space in which articles not liking contact with the insect pest control agent are received, such as a bureau, drawer, sink storage portion, or cupboard.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling insect pests, by which an insecticide is released in a space under an unheated condition to control the insect pests, while the active ingredient of the insecticide has ordinarily been evaporated and diffused in a heated condition to control the insect pests.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a bathing agent containing a nicotinic acid derivative and the extract of a Gentianales plant and excellent in a warm bath effect. CONSTITUTION:The bathing agent contains 0.01-5wt.% of the extract of one or more of the Gentianales plants, especially the Gentianaceae plants, (e.g. Swertia japonica, Gentiana scabra) and 0.01-5wt.% of a nicotinic acid derivative of the formula (R is H, 1-10C saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon, benzyl) (e.g. methyl nicotinate). The extraction of the plant is performed by a method using a solvent such as water-alcohol or by a method using a gas such as carbon dioxide. The nicotinic acid derivative and the extract are suitably compounded with other conventional bathing agent ingredients and subsequently prepared into the form of granules, piles, tablets, emulsions, etc. On the use of the bathing agent, 5-100g of the bathing agent is added to approximately 200 liter of warm water. The mixture of both the nicotinic acid derivative and the plant extract synerigistically enhances the heat-insulating property for human bodies.
