    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the coat layer forming method of a flexible tube for an endoscope for easily suppressing entrainment of air bubbles at a low cost. SOLUTION: A flexible tube 13 is supported on a container 40 for storing dilution agent 37 in a state that one end part 13a with a hook 34 attached thereto faces downward. The hook 34 of the flexible tube 13 and a masking tape 35 wound around a connection part between the hook 34 and the one end part 13a is immersed in the dilution agent 37. The flexible tube 13 is immersed in coating liquid 26 from the one end part 13a (the hook 34) in a state that it is extended in an almost vertical direction and the one end part 13a faces downward. Before immersion into the coating liquid 26, the hook 34 and the masking tape 35 are coated with a dilution agent 37 of the same kind as one contained in the coating liquid 26, so that wetting property of the both against the coating liquid 26 is improved.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm plate capable of preventing separation thereof from a lens barrel when air is sprayed to a lens.
      SOLUTION: First, a convergent lens 13 is fixed in a lens barrel 11 when a projection lens 10 is assembled. Then, a caulking rivet 11c protruding from one surface 11b of a caulking base 11a is inserted into a caulking aperture 14b of a diaphragm plate 14 to perform heat caulking, fixing the diaphragm plate 14 to the lens barrel 11. After fixing the diaphragm plate 14, air is sprayed towards the convergent lens 13 through a diaphragm aperture 14a from a front surface 14e side of the diaphragm plate 14 to remove foreign substances. The air sprayed to the convergent lens 13 is escaped from an air escape passage 11d and a notch 14d for air escape to the front surface 14e side of the diaphragm plate 14. Thus, damage of the caulking rivet 11c, which occurs when pressure is concentrated on the heat caulking portion of the diaphragm plate 14, is prevented.

When the amount of movement of the detected subject in a photographing image plane is less than a predetermined value, the reference pattern is updated with the image of the subject, and an AF frame is updated to follow the moved subject. When the amount of movement is equal to or more than the given value, a tracking operation is stopped.
