    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armature for rotary electric machine wherein it is possible to wind a coil in a slot, regardless of the combination of the shape of each slot provided in a core and the shape of a conductor making up the coil. SOLUTION: The armature for rotary electric machines includes a core and a coil 21. The core includes multiple tooth pieces 41, having a tooth-side fitting portion 35 and a cylindrical yoke portion 31, having a yoke-side fitting portion 45. The coil 21 is formed substantially in a cylindrical shape, by dispersedly arranging multiple coil side portions 22, set in slots, in the circumferential direction and is formed so that the outside diameter of a coil end portion on at least one side in the axial direction is smaller than the inside diameter of the yoke portion 31; each tooth piece 41 is so formed that it is insertable into between adjacent coil side portions 22 in the radial direction; and the yoke-side fitting portion 35 and the tooth-side fitting portion 45 have such a shape that they can be relatively moved in the axial direction and fit together.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a laminated core for a motor and a laminating tool with which the break of an insulation coating is avoided and lamination is made possible by properly aligning and rotationally positioning laminating sheets (iron core sheets) without lowering manufacturing efficiency of the laminated core for the motor. SOLUTION: The laminating tool 34 which is located at a standby position T is arranged in the laminating position S shown by a chain line by being upward shifted. When the laminating tool 34 is arranged in the laminating position S, a second punch 23 for stator cores is vertically moved and the laminating sheets 26 for the stator cores are blanked from a metallic material. The blanked ring-shaped laminating sheets 26 for stator cores are caught with the laminating tool 34 in the state where the column 37 of the laminating tool 34 is fit into the middle hole 261 and positioning rods 39 are fit into the bolt inserting holes 262. The blanked laminating sheets 26 for the stator cores are laminated by moving in the blanking direction as they are and are successively fit into the laminating tool 34 and laminated.
