    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas cleaning device for an internal combustion engine capable of enhancing dispersing performance of a dispersion plate at a low cost without the need for using dedicated parts for dispersions of liquid agents. SOLUTION: The exhaust gas cleaning device for the internal combustion engine includes an SCR catalyst unit 20, a urea water injection valve 22, and a dispersion plate 25 for dispersing urea water injected from the urea water injection valve 22. The dispersion plate 25 is supported in an oscillatable manner by an exhaust pipe 10 that forms an exhaust conduit 10w, and resonance of frequency of the dispersion plate 25 is set, so that the dispersion plate 25 resonates in response to pressure fluctuations of the exhaust gas in the exhaust conduit 10w, in an operating region in which the urea water is added by the urea water injection valve 22.
