摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a vermin repellent composition containing a specific amine compound as an active component, exhibiting excellent repelling effects to hygienic vermin such as cockroach, clothes vermin such as clothes moth, and ant, etc., and capable of completely preventing the intrusion of vermin. CONSTITUTION:The objective agent contains the amine compound of formula (R1 is geranyl, neryl, citroneryl, or farnesyl; R2 and R3 are 1-6C alkyl, alkenyl, phenyl, benzyl or cyclohexyl), e.g. N-geranyl-dimethylamine, etc. as an active component. The compound is preferably compounded with a carrier or an assitant, prepared in the form of paint, adhesive, emulsion, etc., and applied to the entry hall and kitchen of a house, a pen, an agricultural or horticultural house, etc., in a container furniture such as cabinet, or to the body of man or animal. The agent can also be used as a vermin repellent material by coating to or impregnating into a substrate such as a plastic sheet, e.g. polyethylene sheet, and inorganic fiber sheet, nonwoven sheet, etc.

摘要： PURPOSE:An new injurious insect repellent, capabl of exhibiting improved repellent effect on sanitary injurious insects, bloodsucking injurious insects, clothes injurious insects, grain injurious insects, ant, slug, etc., and preventing the invasion of the injurious insects, and containing a specific thiocyanate compound as an active constitutent. CONSTITUTION:An injurious insect repellent containing a thiocyanate compound expressed by the formula (n is an integer 1-5; R is 3-6C alkenyl and alkynyl), e.g. 2-butenyl thiocyanoacetate, as an active constituent, used directly or formulated in the form of a solution, solid, etc. with a carrier or another additive. The repellent is applicable by placing, dusting or applying to an area where injurious insects invade, e.g. plowed fields for cultivating the crops, ordinary homes, granaries, kitchens of dining rooms or furniture, or spraying on an animal or plant itself. Alternatively, the repellent may be previously applied to or impregnated into a sheet base material, held therein, and then placed on the aimed part. 1-80wt% the active constituent contained is enough.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prepare a vermin repellent effective to inhibit the intrusion of vermins such as cockroach, mosquito, rice weevil, ant, etc. and prevent the staining with the vermins, by using a specific thiocyanate compound such as 2-phenoxyethyl thiocyanate as an effective component. CONSTITUTION:A vermin repellent is prepared by using a thiocyanate compound of formula (n is 2-7), e.g. 3-phenoxypropyl thiocyanate, 4-phenoxybutyl thiocyanate, etc. The agent is usually mixed with proper additives such as carrier, and formed to a desired form. The amount of the effective compound is 1-80wt%, pref. 5- 40wt% in case of using as a liquid preparation, such as dispersion, wettable powder, etc., and 1-50wt%, pref. 2-20wt% in case of using as a solid preparation such as powder. When the compound is impregnated in a sheet or a part of furniture, the amount is pref. about half of the saturated amount in the sheet, etc.
