    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus and a painting method which enable the generation of a homogeneous coating film with high productivity and for forming the coating film to the outer peripheral face of cylindrical body; and also to provide a production apparatus and a method of electrophotographic photoreceptor and a production apparatus and a method of an endless belt by using a mold. SOLUTION: A coating liquid 60 is consecutively and intermittently discharged from the coating liquid discharge slit 18 via the coating liquid channel 20 of a coating liquid holder 10 while a cylindrical body 500 is moved down (S100). The coating liquid 60 is filled between the internal face of coating liquid 10 and the outer peripheral face of cylindrical body 500 while the cylindrical body 500 is moved down and penetrate the upper opening 17a through the lower opening 17b of coating liquid holder 10 (S102). After the cylindrical body 500 reaches at the lowest end, the cylindrical body 500 is lifted up to the upper part and the coating liquid 60 is consecutively and intermittently discharged from the coating liquid discharge slit 18 so that the coating liquid 60 overflows at the upper end of coating liquid holder 10. Thus, the coating liquid 60 flows out from the lower opening 17b to a lower part and a coating film 62 is formed at the outer peripheral face of cylindrical body 500 positioned at the upper part of upper opening 17a (S104).
