A second connection part is placed between the support plate and the ring. A method for supporting the fuel nozzle inside the combustor includes a step of surrounding the fuel nozzle by using the ring, a step of connecting the support plate to the ring, and a step of connecting the support plate to at least one fuel nozzle.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustor and a method for supplying fuel to a combustor.SOLUTION: A combustor includes an end cap having upstream and downstream surfaces, and a cap shield (32, 132) surrounding the upstream and downstream surfaces. First and second sets of premixer tubes extend from the upstream surface through the downstream surface. A first fuel conduit (44, 144) supplies fuel to the first set of premixer tubes. A second fuel conduit (46, 146) supplies the fuel through the annular passage (26, 126) to the second set of premixer tubes. The method for supplying the working fluid to the combustor includes allowing the working fluid to flow from the compressor through the combustion chamber, and diverting a portion of the working fluid through the distribution manifold that circumferentially surrounds the plurality of fuel injectors circumferentially arranged around the combustion chamber.
