    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent electrode having both sufficient electrical conductivity and optical transparency, and to provide an electronic device having increased performance by using the transparent electrode.SOLUTION: A transparent electrode 1 comprises: an electrode layer 1b which contains silver (Ag) as a primary component; a fluorine-containing layer 1c, containing fluorine atoms (F), which is arranged adjacent to the electrode layer 1b; and a nitrogen-containing layer 1a which is arranged adjacent to either the electrode layer 1b or the fluorine-containing layer 1c. The nitrogen-containing layer 1a is constituted of a compound which includes nitrogen atoms (N), and has an effective unshared electron pair percentage content [n/M] represented by a formula of 2.0×10≤[n/M], where n represents the number of unshared electron pairs, among those included in the nitrogen atoms (N), which neither participate in aromaticity nor are coordinated with metal, and M represents molecular weight.
