摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a red pigment composition having excellent suitability as a pigment for various uses and, especially when used in coating materials or printing inks, giving products showing lowered viscosity and consequent good fluidity, freed from flooding, having high tinting strength, and giving prints or coating films having good gloss and high transparency by mixing a dianthraquinonyl pigment with a specified anthraquinone derivative. SOLUTION: The dianthraquinonyl pigment is represented by formula I. The anthraquinone derivative is represented by formula II [wherein R1 to R8 are each H, a halogen, -SO3 M (wherein M is H, Na, K, NH4 or NR9 R10 R11 R12 (wherein R9 to R12 are each a 1-10C saturated or unsaturated aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon group) or the like)]. The red pigment composition is obtained merely by mixing the compounds represented by formulas I and II with each other, by mechanically mixing them with a grinder or by suspending the pigment in water or an organic solvent, and adding the above derivative in the form of a dry powder or a suspension in water or an organic solvent to the suspension. The amount of the derivative used is at most 30wt.%, desirably 0.5-10wt.% based on the pigment.

SOLUTION: A fluorine-containing alkane diode of formula I [R is a 1-6C fluorinated hydrocarbon; R is a (substituted) aryl, a (substituted) heteroayl], typically 4,4,4-trifluoro-1-(2-thienyl)-1,3-butane dione is allowed to react with caustic soda and/or potash in an alcohol, then to react with europium oxide combined with aqueous hydrochloric acid adjusted in pH to 5-8, followed by tetraalkylammonium halide to safely give the objective europium complex represented by formula II (A is a tetraalkylammonium slat) which is useful in automatic control, safety control, securities, identity card securities in high yield.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a novel bis(1,2-bis(2-methoxyphenyl)-1,2-ethylene dithiolate) nickel complex which gives a near-infrared absorption resin composition for an exterior building material, when this compound is kneaded in a resin. SOLUTION: This novel compound is bis(1,2-bis(2-methoxyphenyl)-1,2-ethylene dithiolate)nickel complex. When it is kneaded in a resin with heat, this compound becomes almost colorless blue and is useful as an infrared ray-cutting resin molded products for exteriors for example, sky light, shop roof, arcade or roof of bus stop and as resin molded products for absorbing near-infrared rays for building materials. This compound is prepared by reaction of o-anisoin with diphosphorus pentasulfide in a solvent such as dioxane to form an intermediate of a phosphorus compound of formula III and followed by reaction of the intermediate with an aqueous solution of nickel chloride (II) with heat.
