As to the height of the evaporation preventing block 15, it is necessary that it reaches at least the liquid level, when the subtank cover 14 is closed. The block 15 of the subtank is integrally formed with the subtank cover 14 and structured so that the mechanism members such as a filter and a sensor are inserted through. Thus, the liquid level between the mechanism members is covered and the evaporation can be suppressed. Further, the deterioration in the liquid caused by the contact with the air at the liquid level in a waving state can be prevented as well.
