When the printing medium P is delivered, the pick-up roller rotates in normal and reverse rotation directions. In normal rotation, the resistance force is applied to a bottom face of the printing medium P from the friction roller 51. In reverse rotation, the resistance force applied to the bottom face of the printing medium P from the friction roller 51 is made extremely small.
