    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably hold the coefficient of friction of the surface of a roller for a long period by providing a cylindrical buffer material, an elastically deformable and cylindrical metallic surface material coating the outer peripheral surface of the buffer material and hard particulate applied on the outer peripheral surface of the metallic surface material. SOLUTION: The paper carrier roller is constituted of a thick and cylindrical buffer material 1, a thin and cylindrical surface material 2 coating the outer periphery of the buffer material 1 and hard particulate 3 applied evenly on the whole of the outer periphery of the surface material 2. The buffer material 1 is formed by a material which can be easily elastically deformed by pre-load loaded on this kind of paper carrier roller, that is, a rubber material and foamed resin material, for instance. The surface material 2 is formed by a metallic material, that is, stainless steel rich in corrosion resistance, for instance. The thickness of the surface material 2 is made to thin so as to be elastically deformable. As the hard particulate 3, ceramic particulate having a sharp angular part and a particle diameter of about 10 to 150 μm, for instance, is used.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax shock applied to an occupant by delivering a seat belt by given length for unfastening the seat belt when excess tensile force is applied to the seat belt on automobile collision, etc. SOLUTION: A resistor base substance 25 installed in the cylindrical hole 16c of a cylindrical reel 16 for winding an automobile seat belt or on a shaft 17 and rotated with the cylindrical reel 16 or the shaft 17 is provided with a load generating part 18 engaged with a resistor group 24 consisting of a plurality of resistors 31, 32, 33 engaged with together adjacent to each other. The reel 16 is temporarily fixed to the shaft by a contact load. When the shaft 17 is locked and fixed by excess tensile force application to the seat belt, the tensile force firstly rotates the reel 16 against the contact load of the resistor base substance 25 to deliver the seat belt. The reel 16 is then rotated by given rotation frequencies against the order of each contact load of resistors 31, 32, 33 to deliver the seat belt by given length.

SOLUTION: In an automotive safety net device having a net to be wound for partitioning the rear baggage compartment and the cabin of an automobile in a tense state, a winding device 2 for winding the net to be drawn by a spring force via a winding shaft 9 and a locking mechanism for locking ON/OFF the rotation of the winding shaft 9 by rotating a cam plate 19, the locking mechanism is provided with a self-time mechanism 27 for rotating the cam plate 19 from a locking-OFF side to a locking-ON side automatically and with time, the locking mechanism is thereby locked automatically, and in the period until the cam plate 19 is rotated from the locking-OFF side to the locking-ON side and the rotation of the winding shaft is locked, the net wound on the winding device is drawn therefrom and the rear baggage compartment and the cabin of the automobile are partitioned.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify structure to eliminate a need for a low output and highcost power spring by a method wherein during fastening of a seat belt, a winding force by a power spring output is reduced by the friction force of a winding member wound around a shaft. SOLUTION: This winding device for a seat belt for an automobile comprises a shaft 2 interlocking with a seat belt winding shaft 10 for an automobile; an elastic winding member 3 with an end fitted in the shaft 2 with a pressure: position regulation means 4 and 5 to fix one end part of the winding material 3 and stop the winding member when, during fastening of a seat belt 8, the shaft 2 is rotated in a winding direction; and a power spring 6 having a winding core part fixed on the shaft 2. During drawing and retracting of the seat belt 8, the output of the spring power 6 is exerted. When the shaft 2 is rotated in a winding direction during fastening of a seat belt 8, a friction force between the winding member 3 and the shaft 2 is worked as a brake force against the output of the power spring 6, and a winding force during fastening of the seat belt 8 is relieved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and light-weight damper having high load resistance at low costs by providing a wire rod being delivered to release a seat belt against a friction load and softening an impact given to an automobile occupant when an excessive tensile force is applied to the seat belt. SOLUTION: A wire 28 is formed and maintained in a linear shape, put through a chipper part 26 from the inside of a housing 27 and temporarily fixed to the chipper part 26 by a friction load with a friction resisting part 26b. When a excessive tensile force is applied to a seat belt 24 at the time of clashing, the wire 28 is delivered by an equal load and a specified length against the friction load to release the seat belt 24 and thus an impact applied to an automobile occupant is reduced. Also, the housing portion 29a of a wire 29 housed in the housing 27 is formed and maintained in a coil shape, a tip part 29b is connected to the seat belt 24, and thereby the delivering length of the wire 29 is made longer with a small housing area. Thus, a compact and light-weight buffer having resistance to a high load is provided at low costs.
