    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a desired shift of an automatic transmission using a shift model.SOLUTION: A torque sharing ratio is set as a restraining condition of a motion equation of an automatic transmission. Therefore, it is suitable for controlling delivery of the torque of an engaging device that is difficult in shift control, and its motion equation can be solved. In the other point of view, the torque sharing ratio expressing the delivery of the torque is a restraining condition, and therefore, a predetermined shift model can cope with any shift pattern. Furthermore, when a second shift is determined during a first shift, a target shift value is switched to a target shift value corresponding to the second shift, and so, a target value of input shaft angular acceleration dωt/dt can be more quickly increased without delaying the target value for completing the second shift, near a synchronous rotation speed of transmission input rotation speed ωi after the shift during the first shift than when the shift is completed one by one. Accordingly, shift can be completed more quickly than when the shift is completed one by one.

Therefore, the shift control can be started more quickly and the shift can be completed more quickly than when start of the shift control is delayed uniformly.
