It also includes the process for creating a desired pattern on the pile face of the pile greige 4 by print-dyeing the pile greige 4 before or after making the backing layer 8.

    • PURPOSE: To enable continuous production of print tiles with high accuracy of pattern dislocations by superposing on a substrate or base resin impregnated glass fiber layer, a transferred pattern layer and transparent surface layer, and cutting them in a manner to be synchronous with the transferred pattern layer. CONSTITUTION: Resin impregnated glass fiber layers 2, 24 are superposed on bases 1, 28 made of laminated sheets 27, 27' and the surface layer is made smooth. Then, the pattern of a transfer paper 6 is set so that the surface is positioned on the lower side while the pattern face is pressure fitted onto the surfaces of the layers 2, 24 to form a transferred pattern layer 25. Thereafter, a transparent surface layer 26 is superposed thereon, and the transparent resin sheet is cut in a manner to be synchronous with the transferred pattern layer 25 to have a print tile 29. The mark of tile sheet is irradiated with laser beam and the mark and the laser beam are met to control the cutting position of the tile 29. As a result, the pattern error accuracy of the layer can be made less than 0.6%.
