    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor with excellent surface charge retentivity.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes: a conductive substrate 1; and a photosensitive layer 2 on the conductive substrate 1. A layer forming an outermost surface of the photosensitive layer 2 contains a polymer that is formed by polymerizing a crosslinkable charge transport material having an aromatic group and a -CHOH group, and the layer forming the outermost surface satisfies the following formula (1): (Peak2)/(Peak1)≤0.05 where Peak 1 represents a peak area of an absorption peak (1550 cmor more and 1650 cmor less) of stretching vibration of an aromatic group, which is obtained when an infrared absorption spectrum of the layer forming the outermost surface is measured, and Peak 2 represents a peak area of an absorption peak (1670 cmor more and 1710 cmor less) of an aromatic aldehyde, which is obtained when the infrared absorption spectrum of the layer forming the outermost surface is measured.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor without causing thickness unevenness and hardening unevenness, the electrophotographic photoreceptor of high image quality having mechanical strength stable with time, an image forming device having the electrophotographic photoreceptor, and a process cartridge. SOLUTION: In this electrophotographic photoreceptor manufacturing method, a method for forming at least one layer out of an undercoat layer, a photosensitive layer and a protective layer is a method of jetting a first coating liquid and a second coating liquid reacting when mixed with each other, from different liquid droplet discharging heads in an ink jet method and mixing them on a conductive substrate. The electrophotographic photoreceptor is obtained by this manufacturing method. Alternatively, the protective layer contains curable resin and a curing agent or a curing catalyst, and the content ratio of the curing agent or curing catalyst in the protective layer is increased toward the photosensitive layer side in the film thickness direction of the protective layer.
