    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder type screen printer capable of gripping the front end of a printing sheet without interfering with a squeegee, capable of minimizing the margin of a print starting part in the printing sheet, and capable of preventing wave occurrence caused by gripping of the front end of the printing sheet.SOLUTION: A cylinder type screen printer is provided with a printing cylinder 11 rotating around its own axial line, and a gripping mechanism 13 for gripping the front end of a printing sheet 12 is provided on the periphery of the printing cylinder 11. The gripping mechanism 13 is composed of a stopper 27 for controlling the front end position of the printing sheet 12, and a grip unit 30 which is provided at the upstream side of the stopper 27 in a sheet-feeding direction and sucks the front end of the printing sheet 12 by a negative pressure air.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a driving device for easily controlling the speed of both of a printing cylinder and a printing screen frame by providing control means for independently driving a rotary drive means for the printing cylinder and a reciprocative drive means for the printing screen frame, respectively. CONSTITUTION:By a drive means for a printing cylinder 3, a one-directional rotation of a control motor 14 is transmitted to the printing cylinder 3 through a drive gear 15, an intermediate gear 16 and a cylinder gear 17 on a shaft 2. Further, by a drive means for a printing screen frame 5, a forward and backward rotation of a control motor 18 is transmitted to the printing screen frame 5 through a drive gear 19, both intermediate gears 21 on a shaft 20, both pinions 22 and both racks 23, each pinion and each rack being rotatable on the shaft 2 with respect to the shaft 2. These drive means can independently control the cylinder 3 and the frame 5. If the motor 14, 18 are utilized in such a manner, the speed control of each of the printing cylinder 3 and the printing screen frame 5 becomes easy, thus the rotational speed V of the printing cylinder 3 and the moving speed V of the printing screen frame 5 are easily made constant. Hence, good printing and good ink flooding can performed.

    • PURPOSE:To readily clean the under side of a screen plate and the soiled surface of a cylinder by supporting a delivery base so that a space can be secured between the delivery base installed on the delivery side of the cylinder and the under side of the screen plate and the delivery base can be retreated backward. CONSTITUTION:A means supporting a delivery base 12 installed on the delivery side of a cylinder 3 is adopted so that a space S2 can be secured between the delivery base 12 and the back side of a screen plate 9 positioned above the delivery base 12 and the delivery base 12 can be retreated backward. A base receiving a belt for retreating the delivery base 12 is split into a first belt base 14 and a second belt base 15 in a position close to the cylinder 3; the second belt base 15 is connected to the first belt base 14 with a hinge 16, and a pin 17 provided on the top of the second belt base 15 is supported by a delivery base receiving lever 18 when a printing machine is in operation. Consequently, the under side of the screen plate 9 and the soiled surface of the cylinder 3 are readily cleaned.
