    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction of a bank angle at the time of cornering and to reduce that an AMT mechanism receives a fatal damage even at the time of falling down.
      SOLUTION: This motorcycle 1 is provided with a cylinder block 47 of an engine; a crank case 49 positioned at a lower part of this cylinder block 47; a transmission 55 positioned at a rear side of this crank case 49 and provided with a multi-stage shift mechanism comprising a plurality of stages of a speed- change gear; a clutch for connecting/disconnecting a rotation transmission at the time of switching of a speed-change gear of this transmission 55; and the AMT mechanism 63 for automatically carrying out an operation of this clutch and the switching of the speed-change gear of the transmission 55. Since this AMT mechanism 63 has a structure that it is arranged at a rear side of the cylinder block 47 and at an upper part of the transmission 55, the reduction of the bank angle at the time of cornering is prevented and the fatal damage of the AMT mechanism 63 at the time of falling down of the motorcycle 1 is reduced.
