    • PURPOSE: A spindle drive is provided to rotate spindle at high speed by the drive of a spindle motor, since backlash is removed or maintained. CONSTITUTION: A spindle drive comprises a body, a spindle(10), a gear-box(20), multiple driven shafts(40), an idle shaft(30), a high speed driving shaft(22), a low speed drive gear(80), a reducer(50), and a clutch unit. The spindle has a ring gear at the lower part thereof. The driven shaft, the idle shaft, the high speed driving shaft, the low-speed drive gear shaft are installed in the gear-box. The driven shaft is gear-combined with the ring gear. The idle shaft is gear-combined with multiple slave gears. The high speed driving shaft drives the idle shaft with the driving force of a spindle motor(26). The backlash is removed by reducing the pressure of the low-speed drive gear through a pressure reducing unit. The reducer is driven by a servo motor(52). The clutch unit controls the power transmission of the servo motor.

    • An unclamping sensor of an automatic lathe turret is provided to recognize a change of the movement of a piston coupler by detecting a dog moved by a mechanically connected rod. In an unclamping sensor of an automatic lathe turret, a piston(110) is contacted with a coupler(11,13) moving forward to a disc mounting a tool to clamp the disc and moving backward to unclamp the disc. A spring(113) pushes the piston to a position where the piston coupler is positioned. A sensor(143) detects the movement of the piston. The piston is positioned to contact a rear side of the piston coupler in a horizontal state and is vertically connected to a rod. A dog(141) is mounted to an end of the rod and the senor detects a distance from the dog. In a body of the automatic lathe turret to surround the piston coupler, a first passage(131) is formed in a vertical relation to the piston and a second passage(132) is extended from the first passage in the vertical relation. The rod includes a first rod(121) positioned in the first passage and a second rod(122) vertically connected to the first rod and positioned in the second passage.
