摘要： A sheet conveying device includes a sheet stacker, an air blower, a guide, and a holder. The sheet stacker stacks sheets. The air blower blows air to the sheets on the sheet stacker. The guide is disposed facing an uppermost sheet of the sheets on the sheet stacker. The holder holds the guide and has a groove along which the guide is inserted. The groove has a plurality of direction switching portions at each of which the guide changes a direction of movement when the groove receives the guide.

摘要： A sheet feeder includes a sheet loading tray, an air blower, a side air blower, and processing circuitry. The sheet loading tray loads sheets. The air blower blows air to the sheets to float and separate the sheets. The side air blower blows air to the sheets to separate the sheets. The processing circuitry controls a tray elevator to rise the sheet loading tray to move the sheets to an upper limit position, after a predetermined time has elapsed from a time when the sheets are loaded on the sheet loading tray. The processing circuitry causes the air blower and the side air blower to blow air to the sheets to perform sheet separation and controls the tray elevator to lower the sheet loading tray to a position at which an intermediate remaining-sheet sensor is disposed, after the sheet separation ends.

摘要： A feeder includes a mount board that moves vertically while allowing sheet-shaped media to be stacked thereon; a transport device allows an uppermost one of the sheet-shaped media stacked on the mount board to be sucked by a suction portion to transport the uppermost medium to a transporter and to feed the uppermost medium to a destination; left and right edge air blowers blow air to transportation left and right edge portions of upper ones of the sheet-shaped media stacked; and a tip-end air blower blows air to below the uppermost medium sucked by the suction portion from a position downstream from a transportation leading end of the uppermost medium in a transport direction. When the uppermost medium is sucked by the suction portion, the feeder performs a first operation of spacing an upwardly bent transportation leading-end portion of a second uppermost medium apart downward from the sucked uppermost medium.

While performing the pre-feeding blowing operation or the during-feeding blowing operation, the controller performs detection with the detector, and on condition that a result of the detection fails to satisfy a preset target range, the controller changes a parameter for the medium-feeding operation including at least one of the pre-feeding blowing operation or the during-feeding blowing operation.

摘要： A sheet feeding apparatus includes a sheet stacker, an air blower, a suction feeder, a lifting mechanism, an elevation detection sensor, an elevation detection sensor, a feed detection sensor, and processing circuitry. The air blower blows air to float an uppermost sheet of sheets stacked on the sheet stacker. The processing circuitry drives the lifting mechanism such that the sheet stacker is lifted by an elevation amount determined based on a sheet thickness of the sheets stacked on the sheet stacker, each time a sheet is detected when a number of sheets detected is smaller than a threshold number of sheets, and stops lifting of the sheet stacker until a sheet is not detected when the number of sheets reaches the threshold number of sheets, while repeatedly feeding the uppermost sheet and counting the number of sheets.

A position control device of the singling apparatus is coupled to the separation roller and comprises an alignment indication being in correlation with an angle position of the contact area of the separation roller and indicates the alignment of the contact area to the singling gap and/or the sheet.
