摘要： Business owners in a virtual universe may want to create a data source that transmits a data feed when certain parameters are met. Functionality can be implemented within a virtual universe to create a data feed when a trigger event occurs. The data feed may include data about the trigger event itself and/or about an avatar that caused the trigger. Triggered data feeds can be used to derive statistics, monitor use of objects and space and bill for such use, etc. In such cases, the user may be notified, such as via email, of the new data feed, as well as instructions on how to subscribe to it in their RSS reader or other client. Alternatively, users may be given individual feeds wherein additional feeds are distributed as separate categories of the user's feed as opposed to creating a separate feed.

摘要： Some embodiments include two-dimensional compressed data sets that can be re-aligned while preserving compression of the data. A set of one or more shifts and a corresponding set of one or more first dimension indices into a two-dimensional compressed data set for re-aligning the two-dimensional compressed data set are determined. Impact of re-aligning upon each vector in the second dimension of the two-dimensional compressed data set is determined while the two-dimensional compressed data set remains compressed. New compressed vectors are created in the second dimension resulting from re-aligning. Compression information is modified for each of the original vectors of the two-dimensional compressed data set that remain after re-aligning based, at least in part, on the new compressed vectors. A re-aligned version of the two-dimensional compressed data set is created with the new compressed vectors, and the remaining original vectors with their modified compression information.

A delay period is set for the bonus game. The delay period and other details regarding the bonus game are persistently stored on a paper ticket or in a database on a wagering game server. The bonus game may be initiated (after the delay period) on a different wagering game machine than the machine that awarded the bonus game. In a second example, funding for a bonus game for a player may be determined in accordance with a random number generator on a wagering game machine currently occupied by a player. If the player moves to a different machine, output from a random number generator on the new machine may be used to determine continued funding for the bonus game.
