    • A novel fuel savings training needs prediction and alert system is capable of calculating a probability of persistent future fuel waste of a particular driver based on recent driving patterns originating from real-time on-board diagnostics (OBD) information of a vehicle. The fuel savings training needs prediction and alert system is also configured to generate and transmit one or more action items and alerts to a vehicle fleet operations manager or another supervisory personnel for improving driving behaviors of the particular driver. The fuel savings training needs prediction and alert system is typically either linked to or incorporated into the fuel waste variable identification and analysis system, which is capable of analyzing the real-time on-board diagnostics (OBD) information of the vehicle from a remote monitoring station unit. Preferably, various fuel waste variables are normalized with a novel metric called “RPG,” or “engine rotation per minute per gallon of fuel.”

    • A novel ribbon microphone incorporates rounded-edge magnet motor assembly, a backwave chamber, and a phantom-powered JFET circuit. In one embodiment of the invention, one or more novel rounded-edge magnets may be placed close to a ribbon of the ribbon microphone, wherein the one or more novel rounded-edge magnets reduce or minimize reflected sound wave interferences with the vibration of the ribbon during an operation of the ribbon microphone. Furthermore, in one embodiment of the invention, a novel backwave chamber operatively connected to a backside of the ribbon can minimize acoustic pressure, anomalies in frequency responses, and undesirable phase cancellation and doubling effects. Moreover, in one embodiment of the invention, a novel phantom-powered JFET preamplifier gain circuit can minimize undesirable sound distortions and reduce the cost of producing a conventional preamplifier gain circuit.

In some embodiments of the invention, the operative connection and/or attachment of a physical keyboard to a removable portable frame may be accomplished by using straps, connector ports, and/or wireless protocols. Furthermore, a physical keyboard operatively connected and/or attached to the removable portable device frame may be a foldable physical keyboard which enables easy touch-typing for a user if the foldable physical keyboard is fully expanded.
